White phosphorus is a wax-like, toxic substance that burns at +800 degrees Celsius. The temperature is high enough to melt metal. White phosphorus can burn the skin to the bone, and the chemicals absorbed by the body, causing dysfunction in multiple organs. “White phosphorus continues to pierce the skin until it reaches the bones, unless its washed out thoroughly. “- Roman Hossein Khonsari, Plastic surgeon in Paris.
White phosphorus may stick to surfaces including clothes, and will reignite if it comes into contact with skin again. This means targeting a civilian population makes it nearly impossible to remove.
White Phosphorus has been used on Palestinians by Israel documented by Human Right's Watch in 2009 used against civilians in Gaza, and has been used on Lebanon, including the use of it since October in Gaza and Lebanon. Several human rights groups including Amnesty International have documented the unlawful use of white phosphorus in South Lebanon.

Hundreds of thousands Palestinians children have been, and continue to be maimed by Israeli bombings. Israel Defense Forces dropped approx. 1,000 bombs each day in just the first week of the campaign and conducted more than 10,000 airstrikes on Gaza, in just 64 days of Israel's bombing campaign. In only 100 days, Israel had bombed the sieged Gaza enclave of 2.3 million people trapped in Gaza, with more than 65,000 tones of bombs.

Israel’s bombing campaign on Gaza surpasses the damage and harm done by the Allied bombing campaign over Germany in WW2, according to statistical analysis by the Financial Times
Three cities in Germany were destroyed by Allied bombings; Cologne, Hamburg and Dresden. According to CBC, “...in Hamburg and Dresden, bombs created the notorious "firestorm" conditions that caused streets to melt. Data analyzed shows that by Dec. 5, the percentage of Gaza's buildings that had been damaged or destroyed already had surpassed the destruction in Cologne and Dresden, and was approaching the level of Hamburg.” - Evan Dyer, CBC.
According to CBC, researchers are baffled, having never seen this intensity of bombing. The tempo and scale of the bombings have never been seen before in such a short time. Other wars take years, Gaza has been leveled in two months. - Van Sen Hoek, CBC
Israel effectively cleansed Northern Gaza, claiming Rafah (the South) is a safe zone. While bombing people fleeing to the South, Israel has now began the bloody massacre of the millions of men, women, and children displaced in Rafah, desperately seeking refuge. Israel had claimed Rafah to be a "safe zone", and has began the offensive against the displaced and starving Palestinians. On May 26, 2024, forever remembered at the "Rafah Tent Massacre" Israeli airstrikes targeted encampments in Northern Rafah, leaving bodies burning and mutilated, including live footage of actual babies beheaded by the impact of the explosions, and bodies bloodied and burnt.
Israel's Rafah Tent Massacre is only one of hundreds of massacres post October 7th, 2023, in which Israeli violence has led to countless babies and bodies, blown to pieces.
Israel's genocide is made possible with unequivocal Canadian support and Canadian tax dollars. Don't stand by in complacency.
August 10th, 2024, Israel targeted another school leading to what journalists call one of the most gruesome massacres since Israel launched its assault on the besieged enclave. Israel murdered over 100 displaced Palestinians, leaving not a single body in one piece. Every single body was murdered, dismembered, charred, and often unidentifiable by their loved ones.
